What is meant by (PRESSURE SWITCH) :
It is a device that turns on an electrical contact when a pre-set fluid pressure is reached. The switch makes an electrical contact either when the pressure rises or the pressure drops from a certain pre-determined pressure level. Pressure switches are found in a wide range of industrial and residential applications such as HVAC systems, well pumps, furnaces, etc.

KP pressure switches are intended for use in refrigeration and air conditioning systems to provide protection against excessively low suction pressure or excessively high discharge pressure.
KP pressure switches are also used to start and stop refrigeration compressors and fans on air-cooled condensers.
